I Know You've Lost Sleep Over This:

While frantically searching for my curling iron this evening, I found my toothbrush charger. They were both on top of the bureau, hiding under my fleece blanket. The location of the missing casserole dish, however, is still unknown.

I'm seriously comtemplating making some bread tomorrow. Any recipe recommendations?

Linda -- thanks so much! We're near Central Square, so the B-Side Lounge isn't too far away. THe baked gouda sounds heavenly. I just discovered gouda last summer. I can't believe what I was missing out on!

Nic -- that's AWESOME! I bought some gorgeous blackberries yesterday. Maybe I'll try to work them into some nice corn muffins. Gale Gand's recipe looks mighty tasty... and how can blackberries be a bad addition? =)

Kelli - You should bake corn muffins. I recently found out that they are the official state muffin of Massachusetts. State Muffin? Yep. It's legal and everything (http://www.mass.gov/legis/laws/mgl/2-28.htm).
Seems like a fitting way to celebrate your first food post in your new kitchen!

Good luck in your new place in Cambridge! I've lived in Back Bay and Cambridge (Porter Square) and I think you'll love it. Great restaurants, nice green markets in the summer, and plenty of fun things to see and do. I highly recommend the B-Side Lounge in Kendall Square. Their baked gouda appetizer is amazing---I still dream about it. Actually everything on their menu is excellent (from the mussels to the gouda to the salads to the dessert fondue). And they mix delicious cocktails; my favorite is their B-Side Car but I've sampled many of their creations and loved them all. Best of luck in the new place!
